New Label Introduction - Body Butter
As you may know, as stated in earlier posts, my body butter has worked wonders for those with psoriasis, eczema, severe dry skin, skin rashes, and those with an underactive thyroid (symptom-dry skin). Due to the great results and both female and male use my product I decided to make the label a little more gender friendly. Although, it is still a little elegant (in my opinion) I feel that the male population would also consider purchasing this product. I am considering adding the crystal as with my other products - this is part of my signature. Tell me what you think!

Product Packaging Can Make The Final Sale
Of course your ingredients and marketing are some of your best selling tools. But, packaging can make the final sale.
Over the years of developing product and designing labels I would always stay with a certain style. Although, my packaging was nice, I wanted something exceptional that would catch the eye.
I began my research on the web and read articles in cosmetic magazines about packaging. I also looked at the latest trends on the market. Keep in mind I also had a target group for my product - which is extrememly important when owning a business. In doing all of this I came up with a design that has been well recieved by the consumer and has reached the target group I desired. In all, my label is a reflection of my product.
Stepping out of your comfort zone can make all the difference in selling your product.

Bath Salt Recipe To Relieve Skin Irritations
I have been receiving great reviews on my bath salt. Although, I created the bath salts as a luxury it seems to be alleviating skin irritations. Those who have eczema and other skin rashes have commented on how it has soothed and reduced skin inflammation. Here is the recipe for healthy beautiful skin: 2 lbs. Sea Salt, 1 lb. Epsom Salt, 1 oz carrier oil (almond or avocado). Blend all ingredients together use approximately 1/2 cup per bath. If you would like to add fragrance use 3 oz's. of Dendritic Salt and 3/4 tblspn. of fragrance of choice. Blend these 2 items together then add to the combined ingredients above. Happy Soaking!

Getting Rid Of Clutter
One of my goals for the new year was to clear up any clutter that I have in regards to my product. Such as getting rid of old packaging that I know longer use. In doing so I have decided to go to EBay. I have been a member since Sept. 2007 and only did a few things with success. But, since clearing things out I have found so much including craft items that I know longer use and have put them on Ebay. Also, as much as I hate to admit, I did over buy on some items not realizing I had them in stock. Well, this has been absolutely incredible and at this time I have 11 items for sale with plans for more. I have also put some product on that I have discontinued not thinking that this would sell and guess what - it has! Now my husband has seen what is happening and has decided to join in on the fun. He just put his Slot Machine on Ebay - I was in shock. I think he might have done this to get another toy. You know boys and their toys. For all of those who don't know what to do with your odds and ends - try Ebay. I never thought it could be so much fun and profitable. Happy Selling!
